Destination Bokenaeset felt like a hidden gem tucked away in the stunning embrace of nature. Our lakeside cottage provided a mesmerizing view over the bay - mornings here were sublime as we sipped our coffee, soaking it all in. Each day, breakfast offered a lovely mix of classics, alongside biodynamic fruit that complemented the Swedish summer vibes perfectly. Dining at Västersalt was a delightful experience. The varied menu kept us coming back for more. I'll never forget the cozy 'fika' moments we shared after a refreshing sauna session on the lake, savoring a cold beer as the sun dipped below the horizon. For nearly a decade, this place has consistently delivered tranquility and culinary artistry that speaks to my passion for nature and good food. If you're in search of a culinary getaway, this is a must-visit.
